DIAMETER / LENGTH: This is the main dimension of the hand operated part of the component (measure the diameter across the handwheel or the length of the handle).

THREAD SIZE: This is the thickness of the thread (M4, M5, M6). Generally this is appropriate to the size of the component and is chosen based on on the strength of the fixing required.

MATERIALS: Most of our knob and handle products are moulded in reinforced polyamide (PA6+GF) which offers temperature resistance -10 to +110 degrees celsius. Female inserts are in brass, zp steel and stainless steel, male inserts are zp steel and stainless steel.
